Welcome!

I'M PATRICK, and this is my website

Hi!  My idea behind creating this site was just a place to share some experiences, thoughts, ideas and anything else that someone might find interesting.  Even if it's just that one person, or possibly most of the time, only myself.  :)  I spent a couple of years on Facebook and used to post some of this stuff there.  In early 2017, I decided to ditch the miserable experience and deleted my account.  With my own site now, I'm able to share what I want, and I don't have to put up with the drama at the same time.  I was never about the 'friends/followers' thing anyway, that just wasn't me.  Here, I'm alone, by myself, where I feel comfortable and safe, and I like that.

The site name (MyPoeSoul - mypoesoul.com) is just a play on words from Edgar Allan Poe's last words before he died ("Lord, help my poor soul").  I've always been a big fan of Poe, and his work.  I remember reading 'The Raven' in school (a very, very long time ago), and saying to myself, "these words are a part of me".  I felt connected to them, like someone was writing what my heart couldn't say.  I'll be posting things about Edgar from time to time (when I'm not obsessing on other things), but 99.99% of everything about him is already online.  Mostly, I just plan on this site being a place for anything fun, weird, strange, or whatever else intrigues me.  It might be totally out of control, who knows.  Just like me.  :)

I will warn you (and maybe I should have led with this), I have this 'crazy' thing for Lindsey Stirling and her music.  I've been a fan forever, so please ignore me if I tend to go overboard sometimes with the 'Lindsey' things.  Just letting you know....

Anyway, that's about all there is to it.  The site will continue to grow as the days pass by.  If you have any comments or suggestions of things that you'd like to see, feel free to contact me.  I promise, I'll write back.  :)

Peace and love, peace and love!

-Patrick
