I just finished reading this today. I really liked it. Just like The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A Fuck, I bought a signed copy of this book also. My Goodreads review is below.
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
FOOTNOTE! :) I only use 'footnote' at the beginning of my review, because she shouts the word every time. It's actually pretty cute. As well as some of the other shouting she does throughout. This book was surprisingly funny, well written, and just all around fun. I shouldn't really say 'surprisingly', Anna knows what she's doing.
As with other autobiographies of this type, I'm typically a bit bored during the beginning, with the childhood stories and memories. Some were useful in the book though, because it gave you a better idea of how Anna's career started (without being a sleepfest). Still though, the book got better as I got deeper into it. I didn't realize how much of a struggle she went through, even after landing some decent size movie roles. I'm happy for Anna. She's came a long way since those early days. I liked how she openly she talked about sex, some drug use, and just everything else that makes someone who they are. She lets it all hang out and isn't afraid to discuss anything. She definitely doesn't leave a 'chapter unturned' (sorry, I just had to say that LOL).
I think any Anna fans out there would love the book. It's well worth the read.
